John McCain's Hurt Feelings Will Run Your Life Forever, America
Hey Americans! Do you like governance by snit? OF COURSE YOU DO. What country wouldn't want its fate determined by petty grievances and your leaders generally acting like whiny little bitchcakes towards one another? We sure do love it! USA! So what is the latest crucial thing that is being blocked by someone having a sad? Chuck Hagel's nomination, of course! Who is doing the sadblocking this time? Good old....actually, bad fucking old John McCain:
McCAIN: But to be honest with you, Neil, it goes back to there’s a lot of ill will towards Senator Hagel because when he was a Republican, he attacked President Bush mercilessly and say he was the worst President since Herbert Hoover and said the surge was the worst blunder since the Vietnam War, which was nonsense.He was anti-his own party and people — people don’t forget that. You can disagree but if you’re disagreeable, then people don’t forget that.

But hey - let's give it to Walnuts for having some principles and using every possible tool to stand strong against history's greatest monster, Chuck Hagel. Oh wait...
McCain had just voted “no” on the bid to end debate on Hagel’s nomination, supporting the Republican filibuster . Just days ago, McCain insisted that he would do no such thing, and is currently claiming that he’ll vote to break the filibuster following the Senate’s President’s Day recess ten days from now.
So first McCain wasn't going to filibuster, but then he supported the filibuster, but he's going to break the filibuster after the Senate has the childishly named recess (an entirely apt term for this band of feral children). All because he has hurt fee-fees over Hagel saying something mean about W back in 2007 -- the same W, of course, who whispered all over South Carolina that John McCain had an illegitimate black child . People -- people don't forget that.
