Classic Federal prosecution overkill, 8 to 4 for acquittal was the jury verdict. Jury told the Judge that wasn't changing, deliberations are over. Judge declares a mistrial. Any chance of the Feds moving on? Doubtful given the marching orders coming from the WH crew.
Like I posted on the morning wonkagenda, this guy just needs to put a sign that says “whites only” on the water bottles he leaves on the desert, and a sign on his barn that says the same. Then Arizona will have no case against him. Problem solved
I'm a white, 2nd generation Cali girl. There are plenty of brown folks (and beige, and "red" also too) whose families have been here a whole hell of a lot longer than mine.
