Just spitballing here, but I would be more concerned about the purple, orange, green, etc. hair dye being washed into the waste water systems because you want some trendy look. If that shit can change the color of your hair, imagine what it is doing to the water systems?

Kristy Hamrick is ridiculous and ignorant. Unfortunately there are people that will listen to this completely false information. A big concern I have is that I'm not seeing the outrage from women, younger women in particular that I expected. We are going to have to get extremely angry and loud. "They" are coming for you. Abortion. Birth control. Forced childbearing. Restricting financial access. No loans or credit cards for you! I lived the time of no credit cards for women, no mortgages, having marriage be a qualifier for many many life needs. It may not always have been written into law but there it was. If you didn't live it, it's hard to imagine. And don't worry about the wealthy elite. They will preserve access for themselves. But women in general being independent beings? Having personal reproductive freedom? Financial freedom? It's being steadily eroded now. Great danger is here.

Ta, Robyn. With ACA subsidies ending, Medicaid cuts, and (waves hand) tall the rest of this, who the fuck can afford to have a baby?

These assholes think they're doing this for G-d? NO! G-d is the all time champion abortionist. Somewhere between 37% and 50% of all first trimester pregnancies end in spontaneous abortion, more commonly known as miscarriage. It's impossible to know a more exact figure, because so many occurrences of spontaneous abortion happen before knowledge of the pregnancy.

It's just perfect nowadays to know shit about nothing, and be PROUD of this. It's a badge of honor for so many of these people.

And a large number indeed even get to be privileged to make our laws.

Which is why I'm a card-carrying member of The Satanic Temple. They use Christian-driven laws to circumvent abortion restrictions. As a state recognized religion, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) allows Satanic Temple members to get a religious abortion even if the state has abortion restrictions.

Tenent III: "One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone."

I've been a card-carrying TST supporter since before they offered cards to carry 😂

Fun fact: TST doesn't believe in Satan (or anything supernatural for that matter)

Hurray! This is OT but I'm so happy I was finally able to verify my age on Substack so I can see the "naughtier" comments on every blog I read! It started last week, when I'd have comments blocked out because my age wasn't verified (which was bullshit, because the info page said it was—my debit card is on file and that was supposed to be enough). The "verify age" button didn't work, and after a long chat with the Sibstack Chatbot I thought I was going to go the rest of my old-person life not being able to see some of the comments youse fuckaducks make. It was making me quite cross.

Just now, I came across a another comment that was blocked from my supposedly delicate, easily-influenced eyes (I'm being protected by the UK government, I was told) and tried the "verify age" button again—AND IT WORKED! Whew, now I don't feel like I'm at the kids' table, not able to hear what the grown-ups are talking about!

I do not like this trend of "big companies and governments must track the age of everyone to keep children safe", especially when you consider that data breaches are more common than rain. This means from now on all the pedophiles will know exactly where all children live, what websites they visit, when their parents are away, and whether they recently had a fight with their parents (and any other facts that help with grooming). Privacy first, privacy is the only real protection children have against those who are better at using data than we are at hiding it.

Right? Especially here in SE England, where I'm pretty sure every child's first words are "fuck" or "oy, cunt!" and they've grown up watching all the rape and murder and violence and swearing in movies on TV after 9 p.m. It was so frustrating. I'd be reading comments and all of a sudden one of those big boxes would come up, telling me my country's laws were trying to protect me from some written words. The hidden comment would have about 10 likes and I'd try to deduce what it was by the string of replies after it.

It was really pissing me off because it was happening even in the one I actually pay for—which, per Substack's "more info" on the subject, should have not happened because it was paid for and therefore Substack had my debit card # to prove I was "old enough" to play with the grown-ups.

When my husband was undergoing chemo therapy for lymphoma, in addition to the port in his chest for the infusion, they had to shoot him up with fentanyl and strap him down to inject chemo directly into his spine. I doubt that , that part of his treatment would have been possible with out fentanyl. He is cancer free for 8 years, we both have PTSD from his treatment.

Our water here in Los Angeles comes from a long canal system and ends up in a reservoir up in the San Gabriel mountains. Also have these people never heard of sewage treatment? Do they really think that raw sewage just gets recycled into drinking water without going through a LOT of cleaning first?

Good GOD these people are so fucking stupid. America is dying a slow death thanks to the idiocy of the general population.
