There were more police at Uvalde then soldiers at the Alamo.

“Protect and Serve”

There is a reason those words are quotes.

Protect and serve themselves.

You know, maybe when even the police are scared shitless to do their jobs despite their weapons and armor, certain weapons shouldn’t be readily available to the public. AND it’s an asinine idea that it should be on teachers to take up an armed defense of their students.

What a shithole country.

I recently saw a video of an teen talking about her culture shocks when moving from America to Australia. #3 was "No metal detectors or active shooter drills at school".

Your government doesn't give one single solitary shit about you.

Ta, Dok. Beautiful kitteh.

End. Qualifed. Immunity. When someone wins a lawsuit against negligent (or worse) cops, the settlement should come right out of their pension funds.

If cops are not obligated to risk their lives to same our lives what is the point of having cops are all?

D'uh, to protect the interests of the wealthy. Why do you think?

I wonder if the cops would have acted quicker if all the kids murdered were white !.....just saying especially with all the crap that Fvcktwat is spewing against immigrants !🤬🤬🤬🤬

butbutbut cops don't actually have a duty to protect.....

That's been the argument of every gun-grabbing batshit ammosexual since Uvalde.

So much for the good guy with a gun narrative.

What's the point of all that armor & fancy weaponry & training & bragging about how heroic you are for doing your Very Dangerous Job (which, not even top ten) if you stand aside and watch some bastard murder children? *begins ranting incoherently*

I wouldn't mind this so much except cops get so fucking full of themselves. They swagger around with weapons and give orders to anyone as rudely as they like, but when it comes time to actually do something...

Given that the Feds can’t even stop the National Guard of Texas from letting women and children drown, how many of you think Greg Abbot will take this report and wipe his ass with it? We need a National Guard At Little Rock moment for Texas, unless Biden just wants to let them secede this time.

Garland's afraid that a pissing match with the idiot Abbott would lead to more unrest, which makes me see red.

I want the neoconfederate nazi GQP to get held to account for their lawbreaking.

Lawrence O’Donnell had the state senator who represents Uvalde on last nights. He holding back tears as he described to Lawrence children whose faces were blown off. And of course, while kids were dying, the cops were standing around pissing themselves in fear over the AR-15.

That weapon needs to go. It has no legitimate use in civilian hands. It shouldn’t even be used by cops. Every one in circulation should be destroyed.

But of course, they won’t be, because this country has too many nut jobs with tiny dicks.

Yeah, the AR-15 absolutely has to go. Requisition all of them, whatever it takes, and destroy them. Make having one a federal offense. This tragedy didn't need to happen, along with the countless other mass shootings with AR-15s.

We are such a fucked up country.

I can understand waiting for the keys. Without them, there's no way for a bunch of heavily-armed yahoos with rifles and shotguns and breaching tools to ever get through a door. And even if they did, what about the damage to the locks? Someone would have to pay for the locks, which are not cheap. Unlike the lives of children. Or the lives of any American, really.
