Ta, Stephen. Much success to Salaam, and to the district he'll represent.

I hope that Mr Salaam will be a stellar council member for his district and for New York. Nothing would demonstrate drumpf as the fool bigot he is in better fashion.

When Trump published his "Kill Those Kids" manifesto in 1989, he was desperate to claim the crimefighting-hero crown from Bernard Goetz. Goetz was the infamous subway vigilante who also targeted young Black men, claiming self-defense. He enjoyed a period of celebrity in the mid 1980s, especially in NYC, that Trump sought to co-opt for himself in his signature cowardly fashion.

Trump never puts his own self at risk. He doesn't care at all about collateral damage.

TFG has to travel with bodyguards because of the way he has lived his shitty, worthless life. Otherwise, every time he stepped out of his gilded shit palace he'd be punched in his face.

Just call me Cato:

In my opinion, a certain Orange Quisling should be condemned to death after due process of law. He is a danger to the Republic.

What a powerful story and warped sense of justice. The orange fucking moron has always been scared shitless of everything he can't control. It shows in those words that many years ago and now it's escalated to batshit crazy. He can't even control his bodily functions so he fights to control that much more on the outside.

Remembering that if the Trumpists have their way, we won't be allowed to study or even discuss this story.

"The arc of the universe bends toward justice."

A very wise man said that once. I just wish it would bend a teeny bit faster.

If we want it to bend faster we need to help bend it.

Justice would have been Trump being convicted for at least one of the women he sexual assaulted.

"Justice Looks A Lot Like Exonerated 5's Yusef Salaam Winning NYC Council Seat While Trump's Empire Crumbles"

He is a fine looking man, but he doesn't look a thing like a lady in a toga wearing a blindfold and bearing a sword and scales. Not even close, really.

“His dream is one that Trump would’ve snuffed out without a thought. It’s why Trump deserves the true justice Salaam was denied for so long.”

Here’s to snuffing out ALL of Trump’s dreams and the realization of one of my (and I suspect Salaam’s) dearest, seeing that asshole in an orange jumpsuit, consigned to prison for the rest of his miserable life. It probably won’t happen, even if convicted, he’ll be appealing the decisions until long after he’s dead.

But I can dream.
