I can't abide the system as it is. Canada is a centre-left country and we only get right wing governments because of the stupid, shitty system. It needs to be changed (ideally to ranked balloting, but proportional representation is at least a marginal improvement). Electoral reform would most likely lead to a semi-permanent Liberal minority government, which I think is the best possible scenario for Canada.
