Slightly o/t, but revealing: Conspicuously plopped my Pelosi ‘Ride or Die’ tote in grocery cart. There was plenty of room on the belt for the two folks behind me, but they chose another aisle. I was finished and outta there first, despite the fact that checkout machine wouldn’t accept my chip card, insisting I swipe it. Did that, then it asked if I wanted cash back...in French!
