If Rs want to argue that the bigger standard deduction and child tax credits should be kept, that sounds like a negotiating point. "Yeah, sure, let's go ahead and keep that part" the Ds can say, and then let the Rs say "Nooooo! That's not what we meant!" Like that would happen.

That's ... actually, pretty good.

It would get her an extra two or three percent in those rustbelt states. Which might be enough.
