Well, Kansas was part of the Louisiana Territory, so shouldn't the whole state go to live in the leftover FEMA trailers in N'Awlins?

JPark46 Please hold your opinion about Kansas voters until all the facts are in. Keep your eye on Dr. Clarkson, the Wichita State University statistician, who has been researching KS voting machines. After finding a repetitive pattern that appears to shunt votes to Republicans toward the end of elections as the polls are closing, she has requested midterm voter information from Kansas SOS, Kobach, who has responded that the time has passed for review and the votes are sealed. He is now being sued for this information and is doing a stall job. Kobach is the Koch/Repub voter suppressor who has been instrumental in unloading the "Crosscheck" program to check for voter fraud - in states throughout the US. In following this program that was supposedly designed to "crosscheck" each voter's name, location, birthdate, SS#, etc, it did not do this - but disenfranchised voters who were not allowed to vote based on information such as the same first and last names but a different middle initial - but little or no other information was gathered to clarify this! Kobach has spent little time as Kansas' SOS - so the outcome of Dr. Clarkson's research has implications for Kansas as well as many other states - perhaps yours. So let's support her efforts so no matter who wins, we know if any of our votes count in any states. By the way these voting machine "unusual patterns" have been identified over some time - not just the Nov 2014 midterms. How many times have you watched election returns that appeared to be determined except for a few precincts only to see it swing the other way in the final minutes???? Hmmmmmm

While they call themselves Pro-life, everyone knows they don't really give a damn about humans once they're no longer fetuses. Why not sell of some surplus Kansans for medical experimentation? That would pay a few bills...

“The state of Kansas must continue to live within its means just as families do every day..."

The way families live within their means is by borrowing money through a financial instrument known as a "mortgage." In other words, most families don't live within their means the way the Brownbacker is saying Kansas must.
