The 13th Amendment doesn't allow for "prison slavery". It allows for "involuntary servitude". There is no legal slavery anywhere in the United States. Children born in prison aren't property for life. Prison guards can't legally rape prisoners (they often DO rape prisoners, but if they get caught they go to prison).

And you don't need to repeal anything to put an end to convict labor. Just pass a law banning it. The 13th doesn't require chain gangs, it just doesn't ban them.

You can be both an egomaniac and mentally ill at the same time, you know. It's fairly common.

One of the reasons why my father-in-law is such a pain in the ass is that no matter how much he mentally declines he will always think that he's the smartest man on the planet. He CAN'T be having his retirement money stolen by scammers. Don't you know who he is? He's WAY too smart to be fooled by simple scammers. Obviously the guy he gave money to really does work for the secret government agency that's tasked with giving special prizes to senior citizens who first donate thousands of dollars to the agency. *facepalm*
