I love Jen Psaki. I would be happy is she stayed the Spox throughout Biden's presidency, she's that good. But... two things
1) She's already announced that the job is stressful and she's leaving at the end of the year or early next, and2) Jean-Pierre is as good as Psaki **and** can help normalize the image of women of color having and exercising power to a racist, sexist nation.
I love Psaki and we would be lucky to have her for 4 years, but Jean-Pierre (in fewer viewings) seems just as good and can challenge not just sexist assumptions about power but racist assumptions as well, and I think we would be even more lucky to have Jean-Pierre.
I was disappointed when I first heard the news that Psaki's time with us was limited. After having a few chances to see Jean-Pierre in action, I am no longer so. Thanks for your service, Psaki. I expect the same, high quality work from you in your final months, but am happy to have you leave when you need, allowing you to get your well deserved rest knowing the WHBriefing Room will be in good hands.
Unless Biden promotes someone else over Jean-Pierre, in which case I will release a murderer into the white house and we'll just see how many people survive that four pawed, keratin-clawed, 19 centimeter tall beastie. DO NOT TEMPT THE WRATH OF THE FUZZY BALL OF MURDER, MR. BIDEN. PROMOTE JEAN-PIERRE!
You're probably right. Those two hags just better hope I don't ever see them again in my lifetime, b/c they're due for some pretty serious come-uppance for what they put me through during my childhood. :(
I haven't seen Jen call out the Rs. Okay, maybe once. Karine is right there.
Okay, hear me out:

I think it's refugees v. people wanting to make money. The latter was why The Mayflower came over, after all.
But he enjoys it so!!
Verisimilitude!!

Excellent line. Peace be unto your friend.
Yeah, that'll change a lot.
Timestamp please! I never watch these things, but I love the takedown clips I see on Twitter. I want to see her say this to him.
The Red Tide State.
If they are refugees they haven't broken any law. If undocumented it's a civil infraction
Yeah, she's very good. I quite enjoyed the twenty or so minutes I was able to tune in to.
same
Many of the jurors already said they saw it as a racist symbol.
Yep. Trying, anyway.
They dunut like boxes, do they.
