What is it with this strange phenomenon of Teabagger candidates saying the separation of church and state is not covered in the First Amendment? According to Buck, the Constitution says the government cannot "sanction" a religion, but that doesn't mean church and state have to be "separate." Huh? Do you really want Kenyan King Obama installed as the official but "non-sanctioning" head of America's Official Church of Ken Buck's Particular Sect of Christianity?

Also, Buck says something about Obama calling the White House Christmas tree a "holiday tree," which is just absolutely false.

Apparently Ken Buck and Christine O'Donnell have a back-up plan if they lose their elections next week: try to pick up one of those federal bishop jobs. [ Think Progress ]

Also interesting....I've never heard of a conservative even acknowledging the 9th Amendment exists. Or for that matter, Article Six.

You all know, don't you, that this is exactly and literally what Clarence Thomas believes? He believes the Founders intended that "many laws" could be made by the states to establish their own respective official religions.
