KerryPool: Get Me to the Church on Time. Or Not. Edition

In these Kerry campaign pool reports, the candidate is running late. Entire reports are in the subject line in a few cases, and continue after the jump. (Includes obligatory description of what THK's wearing.)

Unclear to me whether she was:
a) going out for a run
b) late for a date
c) fleeing from a fight with her father
Looks like John Kerry will arrive late to church, as is his tradition.

JK and THK attended the 1: 15 Mass at the St. Francis Center, which is a small, warm chapel inside the mall portion of the Prudential Center. It was a Spanish language Mass with a very homey feel and lots of upbeat Spanish music. JK and THK sat on the left aisle of the right set of pews. JK word a Navy blazer, beige pants and a light blue shirt. He seemed to be sporting a new haircut, but Marvin would not confirm. THK had similar beige slacks, with matching pumps -- that caused her problems walking in -- a rust colored jacket, white shirt and scarf. They held hands going in and out, and during some of the service as well.
Both Mr. and Mrs. received communion, taking the host from the priest in their hands (others took direct to mouth). They spent ample time on the kneeler.
After Mass, about 40 or 50 people from the heavily Hispanic crowd awaited the Kerrys in the anteroom, which was really a shopping mall foyer kind of thing, almost a food court, with Dunkin Donuts, Marche, Au bon Pain and Ann Taylor Loft surrounding. JK spent about 5 minutes shaking hands, then left.
We have dropped the candidate at 19, where one of the neighbors, a woman, has been agitated all day about getting her car out to take her kid somewhere; the Service seems to have been very accommodating.
We aretold we have a "soft lid" -- no more activity LIKELY today, but still possible.
Stephanie Cutter has refused to say whether Kerry is doing debate prep today.
I'm on 917 XXX XXXX if you need any more detail, though I fear I don't have much!
