In this Kerry campaign pool report, something completely unscripted happens. It would have to be a mistake. Highlight:

In what can be only described as a NY moment:

At approximately 9: 52a your TV pool found itself following the japanese prime minister's motorcade toward the UN. The candidate's motorcade was weaving its way in and out of this great city's streets when the japanese prime minister's smaller and more agile motorcade sped by - causing our valliant driver some momentary confusion. Your TV pool followed the familiar suburbans - only to realize that the candidate's suburban had turned right on 5th avenuewhile your TV pool continued straight - with the japanese leader.

Your pool is speeding downtown at present. No video of the japanese prime minister or his motorcade.
