Once again my feeling is: tell me about it when he's actually arrested

I’m genuinely surprised he didn’t put Qbert and Space Lasers on the committee.

Is there any committee that Gym Jordan doesn’t sit on?

the whole point of this investigation is to remind all of those voters in the suburbs that the GOP is the party of these crazies. I can't think of a better way to illustrate that point than by having jim jordan be an asshole on TV trying to defend the crazy Qanon militia. pelosi should keep him on there for sure

I have $100 that says if the republicans win control of the House (Jeebus forbid), she will challenge McCarthy for the speaker’s gavel.

Cheney's already a member, appointed by Pelosi. At least I think that's still true.

With Jim Jordan on board, I look forward to Liz Cheney's testimony about Jim Jordan.

It’s not clear to me from your comments whether you think the IP system is broken because you favor less, or more, protection for IP. There are arguments to be made for both.

Regardless, I’d rather have a judge who at least understand IP issues deciding such cases. And I don’t think the mere fact that someone is an IP litigator indicates their ideology, or automatically determines how she would rule on a particular case.

Rodney Davis is an interesting choice. He’s politically center-right, and he’s in a tipsy district where we of the IL Dems always try to beat him.

Maybe he’ll be reasonable? Dare I ask?

Not without paying a PR price with independents.

Jordan is low-hanging fruit. He's a freebie.

This isn't the Select Committee on Political Violence though, is it asshole? No, it's the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol.

The stuff over the summer wasn't part of the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol.

The best case outcome here is learning how many GOP congress people played a role in allowing that mob to storm the capitol.

The best case outcome is to find out what happened and instill protocols to see that it never happens again.

Seriously. This is not the time to shrug your shoulders and stick your head back in the sand.
