Americans are as racist and xenophobic as ever, but the KKK just looks old-fashioned. If they up-dated their uniforms to look like Imperial Storm Troopers from Star Wars, or Transformers, they might have more success attracting members.

England has always had a strong anti-foreign element. At all social levels. Certainly a lot have never considered Scots, Welsh or Irish as "real" British. Or even human in so cases. And "wogs begin at Calais" as everyone knows.
