They see mediocracy as an impossible goal, but one worth pursuing nonetheless.

Chris Cockblock not only tries to block votes and alter elections he is a Republican cockblocker that keeps other right wing dicks from raising up in the Party.

how exactly is a wall on the southern border a top concern in Kansas, which last time I checked isn't on the border with Mexico?

The GOP seems pretty certain Kobach will lose if he gets the nomination. Mitch McConnell's Senate Leadership Fund PAC came right out and said they don't want him running. Same with Roy Moore. They don't want to spend money on either of them.

It's also worth remembering that Moore's previous candidacy was a Steve Bannon power move, to show that he knew more about electing Republicans than Mitch (LOOOOL, we all know how that turned out.) Moore has already signaled his willingness to fight with the SLP again if they try to block him - this should be good.

Joanna Rodriguez told the Kansas City Star, "We know Kansans won't let that happen and we look forward to watching the Republican candidate they do choose win next fall."

Just like Alabama Repubs won't re-nominate Roy Moore.
