Couple of things about this HOT NEW VID of Putin's spokesman's wife doing her excellent "The Holocaust" ice dancing number: 1. Um? 2. HUH. 3. Okay, so we actually have no problem theoretically with an ice dancing number about The Holocaust; art breathes tears and scars, which is a very deep and wise-sounding thing someone once said (us, just now). If we can watch
I agree with you, but also it is clear from the piece that it is about coping with an awful experience. They are using their imaginations in a horrible place to escape the pain of their child being dead. They're pretending to swim, to bike... it begins with cold hard reality and ends the same. Some people don't understand it.
"Holocast" is a portmanteau of Holocaust and broadcast—kudos to Chicago broadcaster/attorney Bruce Wolf for that pairing of words.
Seriously, for a chilling depiction of Dachau, do check out the Twilight Zone episode called "Death's-Head Revisited." It is available for streaming on the Interwebz. It is "art," but it will make you think long after seeing it.
Is that so? Well I guess the 1000's of artists that shared their emotions with us about this crime over the last 70 years are full of it. I guess the deniers are right; since you and I weren't there, it never happened!

Like the Holocaust itself, you really had to be there to get it.

D'oh! You're way ahead of me.
Psssttt, I think you need to turn up your sarcasm detector.
Oh. Wow. You should be proud. Or horribly ashamed. Not sure.
