I'd love to see this country be what it could be, but to be honest the stupid here is has been bred into the bones of the population and like you I don't have time enough to wait. I shared an elevator this afternoon with a young man wearing a Youngkin hat. Although I thought "asshole" the whole time, I kept my thoughts to myself and tried to be polite. He was wearing a mask and asked if he could ride along so not total asshole.
I somehow got the feeling Manchin is gonna find something else in the bill to bitch about and shitcan everything anyway. They've already put the damn bill on life-support until De-fucking-cember.
