The simple reason that far more university professors are progressive is that they are intelligent, they think, they challenge historical fiction sold as fact, they are not racist, sexist, or mendacious. The simple reason Republicans oppose them is they know the professors are correct…and oppose them for that.

Who are those masked, hoodie-cloaked, plain-clothed ICEmen anyway? The convicted J6 Proud Boyz? 3%ers? Oath Keepers? How do their victims know they’re not being kidnapped by the modern day KKK? Shouldn’t “stand your ground” laws hold in this situation? They don’t provide identification. And they look and act like lawless vigilantes.

To think… Liz Warren could have been president. The clarity... the power of reasoning… the dignity… the respect… (sob)

It’s an uphill battle for her. Unfortunately she’d have to get Mike and his Johnson to agree what a day means to congress.

Warren is explaining her heart out and the two men on the panel are nodding emphatically, so that either means they are well aware that she is right and their cohost is a shit-fer-brains, or they're hoping that by nodding Warren won't turn on them too

Sara Eisen's questions were fair for people who doesn't know constitutional law or how things work. Sometimes the dumb question has to be asked in order to give the teacher the opportunity to address those students who are otherwise afraid to ask the dumb question and who need basic things explained.

I have no idea as to Ms. Eisen's education or knowledge. I presume she was asking questions in good faith. I have asked "the dumb question" when I knew the answer because I knew that there were others who didn't know and they had to hear it from someone in authority.

Many thanks to Senator Warren for her excellent explanation and treating the question in the manner she did instead of just dismissing Ms. Eisen for asking the question. Hopefully some people learned something from the answer that was given.

There's zero percent chance that her questions about Harvard were in good faith.

I didn't see her questions about Harvard, so I cannot respond in good faith. I will trust your judgment since you saw that part of the interview.

Thanks.

Some people probably did. I don’t have any confidence that Eisen did tho.

I think she asked her questions in good faith. I just don't know if she was just that clueless or ill prepared, or just wanted to ask the "dumb question" in order to get Senator Warren to explain the basics. I don't watch Ms. Eisen enough to form an opinion about her motives.

So, you're just making a bunch of assumptions for no reason at all?

BlueSpot's avatar

No, not a bunch of assumptions for no reason at all. More of the benefit of the doubt since I don't know enough about Mr. Eisen to make an allegation that I cannot sustain, or even be snarky about.

Basically, I thought it was a good "softball" question to toss to Senator Warren, and Senator Warren knocked it out of the ballpark. And she did it without being condescending to Ms. Eisen.

I just hope that other people who don't know Congress's authority over tariffs pursuant to Article I of the Constitution, learned something from Senator Warren's response.

So, Sara Eisen gets paid like a lot of money to talk about financial things to the whole country, right?

She kinda gives off a beauty-pageant-contestant-and-the-world-peace-question vibe.

I find myself seriously in love with Elizabeth Warren. Forget about all those mindless actresses and models, She is my "dream girl" I've even told my wife, and she understands. We're both "bleeding heart Libruls" and proud of it.

Fox might be too high-falutin' for her. Maybe Newsmax.

Ooh, at Newsmax, she could catch the eye of the Bee Man, Marjorie Taylor Asshole's latest squeeze. That could lead to an awesome fight. My money would be on Marj.

If there was a God, the fight would occur beside a fountain or pool.
