And so we all wait to see which outlet will dare to eat a peach and finally call Georgia. But the waiting is easier when we have brilliant pieces like this one to read. I am so glad, SER, that you have a happy nice times thing to write about for once, and that Clayton County was the one that tipped the scales blue. It's a blessing to the memory of a wonderful statesman, and a testament to the work of a remarkable woman who deserves any job she pleases, forever.
i tell you what. right now i kinda wanna watch all 50 years of Dr. Who.
tom baker was my Original Dr Who fav, then i kinda fell in love with david, then also a little matt smith, but damn if peter capaldi didn't feel PERFECT.
I moved to Atlanta, where I knew no one, just over a year ago. I've now spent more time here during the pandemic than not, so the isolation has felt insurmountable at times. But I'm so happy to be here today. <3 <3 <3
Matt Smith never really clicked for me, and I think that's part of the reason I kind of stopped keeping up with the show after its revival. But I've liked the clips I've seen of Capaldi, and I'd like to see what the new Doctor's like.
I do too, but some of the early years' episodes are partly lost...
''Between 1967 and 1978 the BBC routinely deleted archive programmes, for various practical reasons (lack of space, scarcity of materials, a lack of rebroadcast rights). As a result of the cull, 97 of 253 episodes from the programme's first six years are currently missing, primarily from seasons 3 to 5...''
That is a great photo. I’ve seen several pictures of Stacey Abrams and thought she was attractive, but in this photo she looks absolutely stunning. (Not trying to be a sexist oink, in fact if I don’t stop fanboy-ing over Ossoff, my friends are going to shun me).
Take that, Beto! I have to assume they've had some kind of trash-talking byplay between them about who would flip their state first.
If she wants to do it, she should get to.
That's always been true, but for a long while it was all too easy to forget or ignore. We have been reminded.
Mr. Robinson, this is a beautiful and moving post.
it's now a $2,000,000+ rock.
I'm riding a rail

I said the same, but maybe we should change the name to: the "Stacy Abrams medal of Political excellence".

Only problem with that is the DNC, like the RNC, is a pretty corrupt organisation and they do everything that they can to mash down progressives.
I effen luv me sum Stacey Abrams. Needs to replace Tom Perez as DNC chair.
