An envelope containing white powder was found Wednesday morning at the New York State Supreme Courthouse in Lower Manhattan, officials said. The court building, at 60 Centre Street, contains offices belonging to Justice Arthur F. Engoron, the judge who oversaw former President Donald J. Trump’s civil fraud trial.

Police officers responded to a 911 call at 9:29 a.m. regarding the suspicious powder. A court officer had opened an envelope, and white powder fell onto his pants, the police said.

No injuries were reported, and the building was not evacuated. The police said that the Fire Department had responded to the discovery of the powder and that the investigation continued.

Meanwhile Tyler Boebert has been arrested after going on a one man crime spree. Lauren Boebert's 18 year old son, the father of her first grandchild, is facing at least 20 charges, which involve document theft.

Yep--there's very little of value there, he's deep in debt on all of it, and only a fool would lend him the money and expect to get it back (though a big bribe in the form of a "loan" isn't out of the question). Yet the media took it at face value that he was worth billions, because why would the guy who lies about everything else lie about this?

Yep, let's say he (like say, Musk, or Bezos) has the bulk of his worth in non-liquid forms like stock or properties--it would still be a snap to get credit for them, because a lender would know they have cash flow and collateral to cover the amount they owe. The fact that Trump cannot get this is pretty telling.

Expand full comment

You can see it in how quick Musk was able to put together the 40 billion for Twitter. He may have very little liquid, but he had the ridiculously inflated Tesla stock price and a few Saudi connections he hasn’t pissed off yet

This is also likely why Trump fought so hard against his tax returns being released--most likely they have a lot of loan payments that would indicate he's completely leveraged, and has a negative net worth.

Under conditions like those the medics were working from a strictly tactile perspective, palpating a likely vessel, tying it off, and then upon feeling the appointed vessel plump up a bit more beneath a gloved finger pierced the vein and thanked gawd for the immediate backflash that heralded advancement of the IV cath, taping off the site, and dialing the drip rate.
