Joe Biden's base is much, much larger than that of TFG, who can ONLY count on his base to vote for him come November. Joe will have the rest of the country's votes.

Joe Biden keeps winning his primaries. So why do all these polls say he’s losing?

Just think, when Trump loses (Bigly) to Biden yet again, we'll be treated to another two years of "Stolen election" nonsense. Can't hardly wait.

Plus 4 years out from the next election means the judges will be much more willing to issue gag orders.

I have to laugh at people whining about mainstream Dems being "Radical Leftists". they wouldn't know a "Radical Leftist" if they fell over one. Today's Dems aren't as far left as Rockefeller Republicans were.

In high school, a mate and I were driving down San Tomas Expwy in San Jose at about 55 mph when a car came through the intersection we were just entering. Dude ran a red light and I t-boned him. The impact was punctuated with the most awful sounds of metal smashing, glass shattering, steam steaming, tires squealing, etc.

Once my '68 Camaro came to a stop I remember seeing my bloody face in the rear view mirror and The Cars "Moving in Stereo" blasting on the stereo. I won't ever forget that song.

Good read, at HuffPo: Republican leaders and party influencers had a brief window to define Donald Trump and his actions following Jan. 6, but they failed to act.

"Trump cannot technically reach the 1,215-delegate mark needed to clinch the nomination for another week or two, even with his final opponent, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, dropping out Wednesday. But in retrospect, he likely had it wrapped up on Jan. 28, 2021, the day then-House minority leader Kevin McCarthy traveled to his South Florida country club, and in so doing delivered the message to Republican elected officials and voters that Trump was still their leader ― despite what had happened just 22 days earlier." https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-gop-domination_n_65e7c1e2e4b0170871fc0106

They had their chance to be rid of him and by now would be coalescing around a candidate who could appeal to more than 47% of voters, and not have to spend the rest of their careers feeling humiliated and gross by sucking up to a man like that.

Instead, they signed up for more of it.

Because of the base.

If they said, "Fuck Trump" when they could, the base would have abandoned them utterly and they lose anyway.

This way they still have a shot.
