Adrian Fenty & Vincent Gray Argue About Whatever, For DC Mayor

Yes, yes, yes, Washington, DC is very sad because we're about to be overrun with racist loonies who worship a pudgy weirdo who worships space monsters. But before the crazies shuffle onto their tour buses and make their way into our city's safest areas, we have local politics to focus upon, namely the election for mayor between Current Mayor Adrian Fenty and DC Council Chairman Vincent Gray.

Wonkette was in attendance at the Mayoral debate at the Sixth and I Historic Synagogue on Tuesday night, because sometimes the DC gossip is local gossip and we don't always feel like writing about brunch, okay? Anyway, at the debate, Fenty and Gray yelled at each other and at times discussed the most pressing matters facing DC.

Let us break down the evening:

Education. Education. Israel. Israel. Israel. Iran. Iran. Bikes. Sanctions. Buses! Re-cess-ion. Israel. Michelle Rhee. Michelle Rhee. Michelle Rhee. OMG a bunch of Jewish Peoples cooperated and organized something. Iran. Poverty? In DC? Food trucks? (Oh, wait, they IGNORED the food truck   crisis.) Education. Israel.

What else did we learn? DC should be "One" city, Sixth and I can hold up to 1,000 people, and young people are much more polite than adults. We did not learn if even half of Tuesday's audience is actually registered to vote in DC. Survey says? Probably not.
