In my job as a rural route mailman, I was making parcel deliveries to people's carports and front porches as early as 6am on a regular basis this past Xmas season. Nobody took a shot at me, but you can bet that thought was in the back of my head most of the time.
I sure did wake up a lot of loud doggos, though. "Merry Christmas, here's your early morning delivery of six Amazon parcels. I'll probably have more for you this afternoon."
Many of us come from such backgrounds here. If it weren't for friends and loved ones who cared enough not to write me off, I'd probably be hunting Jade Helm UN forces down in Pecos or something right about now.

Actually I hope it's a CD that won't eject and it's a novelty disc of Johann Sebastian Bach music, but with fart sounds, and the volume knob just broke off.
