Hickenlooper also voted to confirm Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who propped the door open to Musk’s adolescent IT goons, who have been helping Musk and Trump steal our data and probably our money.

With enemies like our own Democratic leaders, we need new friends. How is no one telling them to stop this BS and be the opposition? Don’t they talk to each other? Plot? Plan? WTF!

Slotkin really struggled to get campaign funding, according to her ads last year. Bet, we find behind all these Struggle Dems a handout & nudge toward Republican candidates & policies. Any vote for part of this fascist coup, collectively those Dems need to be replaced quickly…recall or primary. We’re already out numbered, so we’re going to have to aggressively get rid of members in our party who betray us.

I routinely get emails from Tim Kaine, which I send to my Spam folder without even opening. I assume they serve two purposes: 1. to toot his own horn about something or other that he thinks he's accomplished and 2. to hit me up for money.

Tim, I have 2 words for you and neither of them are Happy Birthday.

Just as I got tired of snail mail solicitations from the DNC. I wrote to them and told them (after Nov. 5) You did this. You're responsible for this debacle. Stop asking me for money. Just stop. I'm all out of fucks to give for organized Democrats. Not another dime. Not now, not ever. I may even change my registration to Independent, I'm so disgusted.

So, what happens? Snail mail from the Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee and the Republican Congressional Campaign Committee. DIAF, OK?

Do Democrats even still count as an opposition party when they roll over and cave in on everything rather than actually bothering to oppose anything?

It almost seems like the Democratic senators made a deal to get her through.

I've been bombarded with emails telling me to donate to stop trump. Where's the money going? I donate to AOC and Crocket. I'll support fighters, not accommodationists. Republicans represent the bad billionaires. Democrats represent the "good billionaires". We need a party to represent the rest of us.

Just because she is from Oregon is no reason to cut her any slack. Our Republicans have always been tea sippin', Hallelujah singing nutbars. It took them a while to go full MAGA but it was a short step. Being surrounded by even crazier groups keeps them out of the limelight.

Thank you so much for this article. I just called my senator Hickenlooper to yell at him for this. Any person accepting one of these nominations is willing to be a tool for Trump and Putin.

The worst part? This was a winnable fight. The committee is stacked with Republicans, yes, but Rand Paul (of all people) actually handed Democrats a golden opportunity to block this nomination. All it took was a little discipline, a little spine, a little recognition that obstructing Trump’s agenda is a moral and strategic imperative. But no, here come Hassan, Hickenlooper, and Kaine, rolling out the red carpet because she seems nice and cares about working people in her heart. Oh please. I’m sure every coal baron in history also “cared” about miners; right up until the moment they had to install safety regulations.

VICHY DEMS.

If this b.s. hadn't been going on for DECADES, I WOULD BE SHOCKED!

Shall we wake up and FACE THE TRUTH???

Or just continue to lie to ourselves?

Folks, we got WORK. TO. DO.

I GUESS we can 'start' with:

* flooding the offices of our 'elected representatives' with calls, postcards & emails, comments on social media, visits to their offices, and loud bullhorns calling out the weasels!

* Get OURSELVES together to develop a clear, 10-point PLAN to destroy the coup plotters.

* DEMAND PAPER BALLOT ELECTIONS, COUNTED AT THE PRECINCT UNDER VIDEO & HUMAN OBSERVATION. ASK WHY THE GERMANS ALWAYS KNOW THE RESULTS IMMEDIATELY!?!

* REFUSE to financially support ANY Democrat who votes for confirming the traitors. Why PAY THEM to betray us all?

OK. I need a nap. I am so angry my rage has melted down like a nuclear reactor core. Must get rest so I can rant another day.

UUUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHH!
