We're already a bit weary of writing about Bowe Bergdahl, and you are probably tired of reading about the entire kerfuffle, but if we do not write about the continued goings-on (going-ons??) you will be all like "wahhhhh, Wonkette! Why don't you write about things that reaaalllllyyyy matter?" and we will be irritated by your crying and whining, so here we go.
I dunno, those magnetic yellow ribbons are pretty darned convincing!
People turned away from reliable sticker adhesives in order to express their undying love of the troops, and relied on those mysterious and, who even knows, potentially dangerous objects called 'magnets.'
Well, not a single one of those Vietnam vets ever uttered a single disparaging word against their country, ever, unlike that Bergdahl guy might have done one time in a letter or something.
Yeah, it definitely wasn't something they came up with all on their own. This originates in rightwing media totally Emmanuel Goldsteining him.
I find it particularly disgusting coming from his former fellow soldiers, who knew a guy who heard another guy read a letter, once, and that killed their buddies.
Let the man come home. If he did wrong in the service, the service will punish him (and no, not by summary execution. We haven't executed a soldier for desertion in wartime since WWII, and that one was more because of fears over mass desertions).
mmm, I'm thinking it's more about who gets to control what happens at Gitmo. 5 guys in Yemen go free, I'm thinking the butthurt wouldn't have been so loud. The President robbed the obstructionists in Congress of another chance to say no to whatever the WH wants. And they are terrified this gives O precedence to clean out Gitmo and they don't even get to tack another repeal ACA amendment onto whatever resolution they get to vote on in their bizarro world imaginations.
the press stopped paying attention to the gunnutz guarding the cattle guy, so I'm thinking this is who they are afraid will show. Not the hoverround crowd.
I've been wondering about that. Whether somehow the GOP thinks this is an opportunity to grab the military vote in 2014 and beyond. I have no idea how this is playing amongst younger vets. But the guys/gals who generally could see thru Shrub but bought the whole Clinton derangement thing, are they buying into this crap?
It is long past time for prominent elected "officials" of all parties to locate their spines, bum-rush the poisonous media and insist that guilt can be determined only by the court.
I'm am so tired of these twat nozzles and their damn hypocrisies that I am about to join Snowden on vacation in Russia or hell lets go all out North Korea is starting to look good as an escape from the right wing nuts
Home of Ted Cruz and Justin Bieber!!! I rest my case

Comment of the day!

Nugent has admitted that he like Bowe-hunting.
If Obama had renamed the 5 guys from Gitmo, Jennifer, Sue, or Cindy would the RWNJs be less inclined to think they are a real threat to security?
just asking...

Fair point.
