Texas Congressmaroon Louie Gohmert saw a movie about the Civil Rights Movement, and it so inspired him that he just had to tell the world about its inspiring message about the need to defeat Radical Islam. "I thought about the Egyptian peaceable revolution as I watched the movie 'Selma,'" the congressman said during a speech on the House floor. "Thank God for Martin Luther King Jr."
Yeah, listen up, all you Mooslims! Do your demonstrating all peaceful like and no one will ever get hurt. That's why we in Merica celebrate Dr. King's birthday, and not his assassination.
There's a box with a cat, a vial of poison, uranium and a mechanism to release the point if radiation is detected. Is the cat alive? It is uncertain. Obama gave the uranium and poison to Muslims who killed everyone on Earth. So there's no one to determine if the cat is alive or dead.
Gohmert could have seen Selma simply for its telling of an American Moses (or yet another American Moses after Lincoln) who led his people to freedom but did not reach the promised land himself. An inspirational message about changing American hearts and minds with the power of our ideals. About how America, despite our flaws and failures, is always a home to optimism and tries harder that any other nation in the world to be inclusive. Or he could be an asshole who sees the dark cloud instead of the silver lining, the glass half full, the aspirations of his fellow citizens as illegitimate when they don't comport with his narrow worldview.

The Birth of a Nation remains the greatest rightwing movie ever made.
Gohmert probably thinks Darth Vader is a great example of a strong, decisive leader who knows how to keep his subordinates in line.
Someone should tell Gohmert there is no academy award for stupid.
Gohmert's Cat:

No props for Emperor Cheney? Or Jar Jar Bush (the POTUS, not the FETUS).
I thought "Selma" was about Marge's sister.
Hot Tub Time Machine reminded Gomer of the need to return to traditional values.

I assume Gohmert enjoyed the documentary "Who's Nailin' Paylin?".
Gohmert isn't uncertain about anything. That's his problem.
nerd
Knock it off with the hyperbola.
Sorry, I got off on a tangent.
It's a good thing he never saw Godzilla, or he'd be warning us about atheist lizards.
