From Wonkette operative Lisa B.:

A friend and I decided to get the hell out of the freezing mass of Minnesota and take a roadtrip south. We just returned to our sleeping quarters from a day out in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We checked out the state capitol building, and noticed that next to the statue of their first governor, there is a pedestal with his biography pasted on it for reading pleasure. The biography is literally just two pages printed directly from Wikipedia, with the URL and everything at the bottom. Worse, it was printed in 2009, so it's been there long enough for someone important to have noticed it. We would feel bad for the seeming lack of access to reputable sources, but we don't because we keep seeing the Confederate flag everywhere.

Might somebody who works for the government of Louisiana have some access to verified information about their first governor? Apparently not. Yeah, just tape that Wikipedia page up next to the statue! That works! Looks pretty classy-like!

But those history grades are all in the past, man. ... I've already forgotten it happened.
