That's Mr. Hipster Douchebag to you, pal. My recollection of Dewey's was an interesting mix of working men, punk rockers, and professionals. What can I say? I was living on a schooner that was getting rebuilt. Things were a mess. I had some fun nights at the joint.

I don't recall those places from back then. I didn't even know Dewey's was still around until some friends brought me a t-shirt from their visit there a few years ago. Yeah, Portland seemed like a cool place...was on the brink of moving there until the boat thing I was doing went kaput.

Portland and Freeport. Although with a name like Freeport, you might expect it to be crawling with teahadists. Most of the coast, actually, except where the rivers run, as those are old mill towns.
