Rethug men know as little about women's anatomy as possible. They know that down there somewhere is a hole that they want to put their weiner in. They know even less about everything else. Robyn used logic to write this scary article, which means yikes! forever. the end
If Biden pulled some kind of regulatory kung-fu and did a massive study of the combination of hormones, purposefully added chemicals, weird forever chemicals and garbage we eat, that would be great.
This is an old conspiracy theory: an earlier version (a few decades ago) was that the (real) increase in intersex fish was due to fish being exposed to the new, dangerous, experimental chemicals in the urine of people taking birth control.
A more recent version (about 10 years ago) asserted that the rise in intersex fish was caused by trans people pissing the chemicals from the new, dangerous, experimental drug that is exclusively given to trans people. This version is even more ridiculous, since:
a)There are no medicines exclusively given to trans people. Every Republican ban on "gender-affirming care" actually says that cis people, including cis children, are allowed to keep getting the same exact treatments. If the piss of people taking HRT were really a problem it would be cis people, since there are a lot more of them.
b)The medicines Republicans are most interested in banning for trans people but allowing for cis people, estradiol and testosterone, were invented in the 1930s. So they're not new.
c)Also, estradiol and testosterone are the same chemicals that your body produces on its own, and that humans and most other mammals have been pissing for millions of years.
d)Scientists actually do know the real reason for the rise in intersex fish (it's climate change).
There is more of the active pharmaceutical ingredients for the four ED drugs in our wastewater than for mifepristone. By a few orders of magnitude, I'd imagine.
This is an indirect demonstration of how homeopathy is nonsense. If the homeopathic concept of dilution making a substance super powerful actually worked no one in the US should be able to carry a fetus to term, since every molecule of water has had contact with this and other drugs used in abortions.
Yeah, they've been running this play for decades, actually. For instance, they claim that the estrogen in birth control pills is turning male frogs and fishes into females and making human men infertile or impotent or gay or whatever.
The real culprit is industrial pollution. There are several pollutants that make it into our water that mimic the action of estrogen. These pollutants are responsible for turning male frogs and fishes into females, but they're not making men gay, fercrissakes. Although they could be a cause for low sperm counts.
That's what we are dealing with here, folks. One more thing:
For God's sake, don't flush your dead goldfish down the toilet!
Guess what, lil' marco: there's already a shit-ton of birth control chemicals in our water - enough to affect wildlife. Maybe you should think about updating things like sewage plants and NOT try to weaken our environmental laws instead of giving us this bs.
Just a thought. Not that you bother thinking... Little trump suckup.
This seems like the first step to shunning and sequestering menstruating people so they don’t contaminate the waste water that includes urine and feces with blood and uterine lining tissue when they pee and flush the toilet.
BTW, I specifically pointed Lil Marco's attention to this article on the Twitter. Hope it gets his dander up.
I don't remember a response from Rubio when it was discovered kids in Detroit were drinking water from lead pipes, but thanks for coming around....
Marco...
Polo!
Yeah, but those were overwhelmingly poor and Black kids so Marco doesn't give a shit. He doesn't even care now, it's all just performative bullshit.
I mean, people miscarrying into water has been happening as long as there have been people. This is so absurd. And so hateful.
Somebody needs to write a song.
Call it "Drink Another Baby."
Ta, Robyn. Sweet fiancé Meccalopolis and I are waterkeepers. This is bullshit.

How about Florida stops dumping sewage into the ocean first?

Not to mention all the drugs that a pregnant person is told to avoid. The human race would have died out by now if this were a real problem.
If he wants to worry about drinking water, he can worry about lead in drinking water. That actually happens and that's a real health threat.
Well, to be honest here, Marco’s obsession with drinking water is a documented thing…

Yeah, most of the estrogen in the water supply is from agricultural runoff and other pollution, not the pill.

Don't tell them that! They'll use it as another excuse to ban BC pills.
"What I’d love to know is what they expect to happen here?"
Nothing. It's just bullshit to whip up the faithful plus it gives them the chance to say that they're protecting the environment.
