So history shows. The war-losing misjudgments of the Nazi army tend to get overshadowed by their stunning early successes, but the incompetence of the German officer corps really does stand out, even compared to the French.

The Donald's going to weasel out of this by saying Meadows was the proverbial finger in the leaky dam of people wanting him to speak out against the rioters--i.e. "it's not my fault, because if it weren't for Meadows, I would have known how bad things were".
