Ostensibly Matt Gaetz 'adopted' Nestor and brought him over from Cuba to live with him when he was 12 (and MG was 31) because he was dating his older sister when their mother died of cancer, but that literally makes no bloody sense, considering he still had a living sister and father at the time - more suspiciously there's no adoption paperwork and Twitter says Nestor's mom is still alive.
However, I have heard unconfirmed rumors from multiple Florida sources that Nestor is actually his son from a girl who was hastily sent to Cuba to be married off to the 'father' he doesn't live with after Baby Gaetz impregnated her at 15, so either way, he's got form with minors...
