Something wrong with his skull. I’m very sensitive to skull shape, aesthetically. Some folks are boob folks, butt folks, eyes folks. I’m a skull person. His skull makes me cringe like something is genetically wrong with him. He’s a throwback? Like, a troglodyte. He’s a big-brow, but with tiny eyes that are too close together. I know, it’s bigoted to judge people by their looks. There are plenty of people who look similarly but aren’t monsters or even cavemen. But we know who I’m talking about. We know there’s something wrong with him, psychologically and morally. But we’ve all got our demons in our character and mine is an instinctual recoiling when I see a disproportioned skull and facial features that enhance it... and willfully stupid Republicans. Those too.
I know, it’s not accurate. But my instinctual bigotry towards skull shape can’t be removed. It can only be tailored. And I will do no such thing for the likes of Gaetz.
It takes a particular set of character flaws to become Matt Gaetz. He certainly does act like an alcoholic in the earlier stages, with the projection and pseudo-moralistic nastiness, coupled with sneering self-superiority for no visible reason.
Addiction is NOT a character flaw, but being shitty to others is. Good for Rep. Johnson for holding the mirror up to this nasty little man, who knew exactly what he was doing and thought he could bully and brazen everyone into letting him get away with it.

People shouldn't treat addiction as a character flaw or moral defect to begin with.
