Ta, Dok. Jacky Rosen in Nevada is vulnerable also, too. And I do love Tester's $12 haircut.

Heidi gets spicy! I'm guessing there's some ND --> MT trolling involved. I love her, though she made me scream at the TV a few times.

Are we really sure that Mr. Sheehy did not move to Montana to get in on the lucrative field of dental floss cultivation?

Expand full comment

The dental floss fields are played out. Climate change.

Two vulnerable Senate seats? What about my Senator Jackie Rosen (D-NV)

Missouri should be competitive this year too...

As in flip to D?

Nevada has a dem and she is vulnerable in this weirdass state

Yep, Lucas Kuntz, he ran in the Democratic primary in '22, but the beer heiress screwed everything up...he's a bit more conservative than I like, but he's also teachable

I definitely prefer Testor's version of "grinding meat" to Rosendale's...

Now why would a rich guy move to Montana to start an aviation business? Who is he flying around ? Those elitist rich newcomers with their Illuminati and Bilderburg friends? Maybe the friends of Epstein and the Clintons who hunt humans on remote ranches?

Wayfair cabinets?

as Sherrod Brown is likely to be running against a millionaire who can fund his own campaign (there are two of them in the primary, FFS, and the third probably isn't hurting financially either), he's gonna need a lot more than half of the D's 8-figure tranche. :(

Good news for Sherrod Brown. Lara Trump won't have her grubby paws on the DNC money.

or the RNC money either, since there isn't any. :)

If this Sheehy guy made so much money in aerospace, there's reason to suspect a good chunk of it came from federal contracts.

If that's true, he'll be yet one more asshole who takes his mouth away from the government teat just long enough to rail about "big gummint."

This is the concert I missed!? Son of a mother.... I am upset that I missed a Static-X/Sevendust concert like this!

I'm sure I could live another couple of years. I guess.

At least now we know the secret to Anthony Bourdain's five ingredient sandwich.

Expand full comment

If three fingers get into the meat grinder, is that three ingredients, or just one?

Expand full comment

I just hope those fingers were a single incident, and not three separate accidents.

Expand full comment

I'm assuming three ingredients. Now, if it had been two thumbs, that would be a single ingredient.

Expand full comment

That's only three of the ingredients, though.

Good one! Mayonnaise and bread are the other two.

Donald and Melania Trump’s Many Fights Outlined in New Book

Former President Donald Trump and his wife Melania had more than their fair share of spats during their time in the White House, according to a new book released Tuesday. In American Woman: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, from Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden author Kate Rogers detailed many of the couple’s feuds, highlighting how the president tried to suppress his wife’s independence and the small ways in which Melania tried to fight back. Rogers wrote about Melania’s efforts to decorate the White House residence, only to have her choices replaced by her husband. In another instance compiled by People, Trump flew into a fury on Air Force One when he caught his wife watching CNN, which she preferred, rather than his preferred Fox News. The commander-in-chief ordered that all their televisions needed to be turned to Fox News going forward. Rogers also documented Melania’s attempts to break from her husband’s extremist messaging. “Her tweets were small gestures that amounted to little more than digital ephemera,” Rogers writes. “Still, compared with her husband’s bridge burners, Melania’s missives established her as a rare figure in the Trump administration who seemed more interested in calming a cultural divide than widening it.”

Melon's choice to participate in a wet T-shirt contest to display her post-op "kidneys" at a 4th of July redneck jamboree was another charming example of her interest in "calming a cultural divide".

Yeah, calming, all right. That's why she wore a coat that said "I don't really care do you?" when visiting migrant children in camps.
