Guys, we're really sorry we haven't gotten around to announcing the big tote-bag winners of our most recent photoshop and caption contests; we really will get to those soon, and you should believe us, because we are professional bloggers. But in the meantime, we have a REAL challenge for you: Can you find a point in Maureen Dowd's Tuesday
If you click om the "related video" -- at least the one targeted at me by Agenda 21 -- you will see that Hillz can handle softball questions pretty disarmingly.
This is not sarcasm. I like it. She may well be able to replace Scaly Tony and his sidekick, and whatever you think of her, it will be an improvement.
That was one of my favorite things about the campaign. "Romney says he wants the estate tax killed. Why, was killing his dog not enough??" - Gail Collins.
Well, in a previous life, I actually studied history and especially the incredibly depressing history of the lands we now called Central and Eastern Europe. The quote about the Holy Roman Empire was known even in those ancient times, but I suppose it is always new to someone. A more important matter would be "how does the NYT find most of its bylined editorial staff? -- are they checking out shopping handouts?" Because it is not at all clear many of those folks could actually make it in the news biz.
Oh puleeze MoDo. Your main schtick, along with the entire wingnut contigency has been “the Democrats won, we’re all going to die”. That set the bar pretty low for Bamz. The fact that there was anyone left after the first four years was an automatic win for us!
"... and my name isn't 'Dib.' "
She still sleeping her last column off.
Column needs more defenestration, stat!

No, I don't think she really cares about what she writes, either.
Somehow, I thought that the tech revolution in campaigns would usher in fresh ways for presidents to communicate.
this, coming from someone who writes for a newspaper...

Imagine: an op-ed columnist who is a contrarian. This is shocking.
Is she sleep typing again?
He's too thin for a bear, and I have no idea about his body hair.

Shorter MoDo: Words words words words words....
Obama is probably tech savvy enough to know the correct response to Maureen Dowd is "TL; DR."
As Voltaire said of the Holy Roman Empire, it was “neither Holy, nor Roman, nor an empire.”
I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: “O Lord make my enemies ridiculous.” And God granted it.
