Mayor William Flanagan of Fall River, Massachusetts, is a man under attack. He is facing a recall petition for jacking up his town's taxes and garbage collection fees, a petition that reportedly holds a signature from one Jasiel Carreia II, member of his own city council. Surely that is a mistake! This can all be cleared up with a late-night chat in Mayor Flanagan's car. Just two guys talking while the mayor strokes his gun.
Isn't the first rule about "this thing of ours" is that no one talks about "this thing of ours" unless they want to end up in a landfill somewhere?
...what an amateur; threatening "Bridge closures" is a much more subtle way of getting what you want.
Were they parked right by the water?

I dunno, might be that second amendment solution thing I keep hearing about.
Can you get *any* cannoli in Rhode Island?
"tried to shoot the tax assessor"
Ah yes ... the "second amendment remedy" for big government tyranny. If only he'd been armed ... oh, wait.
Recoil petition. Different thing.
Jeez ... I'm with the commenters: "Please dear God, let there be video!"
Could the NRA have been lying to us? Two words: Un. Possible.
Leave the gun. Take the cannoli. Avoid the meatball in the mayor's office.
Right next to the landfill.
