Good point ... we knew where Saddam was before we invaded, so what's the big deal about doing it the hard way?

Cheney could have just invited Saddam out for a bit of duck hunting, and we'd have saved a trillion or two.

yup. just like in iraq. and my money's on a more stable order emerging more quickly in libya precisely because they have to work it out for themselves (well, generally by themselves.)
