Stephanopoulos Tricks Bachmann Into Telling Birthers To 'Move On'

As you can see from the amusingly edited birther video above, birthers are definitely not happy with Michele Bachmann, who was presented with President Obama's birth certificate by George Stephanopoulos and was forced to admit people should probably just "move on." Did she just sink her campaign before it even really began?

"Well, then that should settle it," said Bachmann. She added: "That's what should settle it. I take the president at his word and I think -- again I would have no problem and apparently the president wouldn't, either. Introduce that, we're done. Move on, end of story."

Uh oh! Looks like she doesn't have a base any more. Obviously she will need to do damage control: claim the mainstream media held a knife to Sarah Palin's throat if she wouldn't disavow the birthers and tearfully tell them she still loves them all.

And then she can introduce a bill ordering Obama to bomb Hawaii unless they release another birth certificate. [ TPM ]
