I kept looking at that poll and I never found the 27 point swing they were referring to. I went through every question.

Man, the Elite Media Owning Emperors are working hard to drive that classic narrative...almost seems as if they're a bit scared... maybe after seeing some bad polls for Republicans?!

More cynically, they're just flooding the zone with bullshit so the Big Lie can live on.

Seems like if you've hoarded enough money to create your own narrative and "back it up" with all that glossy veneer, hiring pollsters, publishing articles, and the end result is just taking a messy shit on small d democracy for the purposes of giving a base to baseless skepticism... Then you're definitely not being taxed enough.

I'm sure the people Wall Street Journal has on speed dial are just like us.

Back in the day, I used to argue politics with a couple of my ex-husband's friends, both republicans. There was a republican on the ballot for governor who, of course, wanted to limit gubmint and cut taxes, and was anti-choice. And then there was the Democrat, who, obviously, I supported. Both middle-aged white men, because this was 35 years ago. Those friends questioned how I could vote for the Democrat, because I'd be giving up the chance of a tax cut. As best I can remember, my response went something like "taxes come and taxes go, but if you're a woman, you're a woman for your whole life."

(Again, this was back in the day. Maybe being a woman for your whole life is not as certain now as it was then.)

And don't even get me started on those white, suburban men!

The only thing affecting the economy is corporate greed, otherwise everything looks good.

The neverending campaign cycle allows for media companies to use junk polls to shape opinion, rather than just record it and report it.

The sooner more folks get off the horserace coke habit, the better. It's tempting though; I fall for it, too.

Rubio lied about the "politically motivated attack" on his supporter. The actual cause, and the best quote: "too much testosterone in the room".

Republicans would like to take this away, too. The option to be you.

A hundred and fifty women is a roller derby league, not a valid polling sample.

The last time republicans said they were going to be “laser focused on jobs, jobs, jobs,” they spent all their time concocting new and creative ways to make obtaining an abortion harder.

Now, they’re not even hiding the fact that their only priority for 2023 is endless hearings about Hunter’s laptop and impeaching Garland for enforcing the Espionage and Presidential Records Acts.

How anyone could think this makes republicans better for the economy is unfathomable.

Don't forget destroying Medicare and Social Security!

They haven't.

All the story needed was a backwards “B” painted on someone’s face.

Yes. And of course, if you want to reign in corporate greed, putting Republicans in charge is the best worst mindbendingly insane and stupid thing to do.
