yeah the economist ran a similar profile of him (handsome, but Iightweight) but only ran a picture of him as a 4 year old. i spent many of my early years in canada and vaguely remembered him / his dad (i'm about his age) and was curious to see how he'd grown up.

A big "meh' here from a member of the Liberal party of Canada. Sure, he's pretty and all, and his dad was a great Prime Minister, but I have already listed his two biggest qualifications for national office. The guy's a lightweight. I was rooting for Marc Garneau, because who doesn't want an astronaut for Prime Minster? ps, only 1/4 French; his dad Pierre had an Anglo mom, and HIS mother Margaret Sinclair is all Anglo. Just sayin'
