Advertisers withdrew sponsorship, and people were upset not only that Alex Jones was being given a platform, but that Megyn Kelly -- someone rightly considered quite problematic in her own right --
Every time I think about how I could have made money to avoid taking out student loans by doing pageants* I think about the women of fox. They typify the brainless blond, even though many of them have advanced education.
Yes, it took me 30 years to pay off the student loans, but I still have some dignity. I became an actor at one point, so not much, but a little.
* There are some fine upstanding ladies who used pageant money to pay for college. My sophomore room mate was the Harvard IL, Milk Queen of 1978 and Miss Harvester 1979. That shit was a semesters worth of tuition.
Sadly, we live in a country where neither ignoring the likes of Alex Jones, nor dragging him into the sunlight will make him go away. Our populace is more stupid and vicious than not.
Adding only 2 people willing to pay money to this lowlife bastard to keep his show going is 2 too many. If it's for 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year, it's too many and too long.
First, M. Kelly is guaranteed to end up on the side of evil, regardless of any momentary straying into decency. She is motivated solely by self-interest, and the forces of evil ALWAYS pay more than the forces of good. Second, you just KNOW that the Internet uproar is 100% responsible for the hasty recutting of this interview into its "tough" form. So ... yay, Internet rage. Yeah, just the few minutes of him I saw in the '90s in "Waking Life" left me thoroughly creeped out.
