Mel Karmazin to FCC: Be Gentle

Viacom's Mel Karmazin gives Karen Hughes some competition in the "then the terrorists have won" advanced rhetoric category. Defending Howard Stern, and raging against the FCC recent crackdowns on broadcasters, Karmazin said: "We are fighting in Iraq for freedom. ... If it doesn't appeal to you, shut the radio off. Just because you don't like the words 'anal sex,' doesn't make it indecent."

We agree: It's only indecent if you're not doing it right.
