I was wondering if anyone was still tuning in to his horseshit rantings. I would think even the dumbest of the Teabaggers would figure out he was completely full of shit. Of course I've overestimated their intelligence before.
Had a cystoscopy a few months ago, which involved laying on a table en flagrante, with a cute nurse looking on while my (male) urologist inserted a long thin probe up my guy-whatever. Which, other than being a tad cold, wasn't bad at all. The only discomfort came when he pumped imaging contrast uphill into each kidney. OWWWW!!!!!11!!!eleventyeleven!!!1!1!!!
Also, as I said the probe went in real easy. Coming back out, not so much. But the withdrawal was done quickly (with a quick, sharp, umm, jerk) so the discomfort only lasted a second or two. It was nothing, though, compared to painfully overpressurizing each kidney with stuff that burns going in and coming out. But even that pain was completely gone after about 30 minutes an hour half a day.
The affair was a private matter, more or less, although there was the matter of presenting a fraudulent image of self to voters during an election campaign, violation of one's oath of office and the failure to perform the duties of an elected representative.
The cover-up, though, was very public and involved things like the misuse of taxpayer-provided state resources and subornation of perjury.
Not sure they ever really did , V&T. My impression is that they were idealists, found that their ideals were compromised, and then rather than adjust their ideals to fit the reality, they saw the reality didn't support their ideals, followed the evidence and voila!... determined the difference between shit and Shinola!. They evolved because they originally had the capacity to do so, and then embraced evolution and it's variability rather than rejecting the evidence in favor of comfortable acceptance.
Shorter version, whatever they thought they signed up for, they didn't sign up for this shit.
