Mike Ness Punched Rude-Ass Trump Idiot At A Social D Show And Now We Are All Pregnant

Don't be the wrong kind of asshole at a punk show. Duh.

Trump supporters -- you can't take them anywhere . One idiot Trump supporter in Sacramento, California proved that at a recent Social Distortion show, where he thought it might be a good idea to be a dick to lead singer Mike Ness, the most perfect human man in all of existence. It did not go well. 

[ PSA before we go any further. Wonkette commenting policies are still in effect, and we are not advocating violence. But also we are talking about something that happened at A FUCKING PUNK SHOW. - Ed.]

The Trump supporter, Tom Hildebrand -- who claims, somehow, to have been a "fan" of Social Distortion since he was a teenager and was "excited" to see them live -- was shocked and disappointed when "about halfway through or so is when they decided to get super political." Apparently, Ness had a song that was very political, and before playing that song, went on a rant about racism in America and how much Trump sucks (GASP), and then, according to Hildebrand, "I pretty much said I paid for your music, not your politics."

 At a fucking punk show. With a straight face. Was it his first one? It must have been his first one.

Hildebrand said he spent the next two songs standing silently and giving Ness the finger. Then during the encore, Ness invited him to come closer to the stage, at which point he spat in Hildebrand's face, jumped down and started punching him repeatedly. Which just confirms what I have known since I was 12 -- that Mike Ness is the goddamned sexiest man to have ever walked this earth. Please enjoy the footage:

You can't see the actual punching. Hildebrand says he couldn't defend himself because people in the audience were holding him back. Like we said, PUNK SHOW!

Social Distortion remains my all time favorite band, ever.

Look, violence is bad, blah blah blah, but there are just different rules at punk shows and everyone knows that. If you show up and start that kind of shit, if you fuck with a woman, or if you show up with red laces in your boots, someone is going to punch you in the face. It might be someone in the audience, it might be the lead singer of the band. Punk rock has a long and storied history of Nazi punching.

If you've got a problem, then you just leave. I went to a show once where I saw a bunch of skins doing that stupid Red Rover shit where they all link arms and rushed the stage, so I immediately thought "OK, not my shit" and walked out. Like normal. I guess if I had the mindset of a Trump supporter I'd have walked over to management and gone "Um, I don't know if you know this but I paid five dollars to get into this show and these people are ruining it for me."

This is probably why when Hildebrand came out of the show and told the cops outside that he got punched in the face they were like "Yeah, and?"

Hilariously, Hildebrand told CBS Sacramento "If he wants to have a talk someday, man to man, I would love that but he would have to not be a child about it." Yeah, sure. I'm sure Mike Ness is going to want to have a "talk" with some douche who stood around at a punk show whining that shit got political and then gave him the finger for two straight songs. Because that's such a mature thing to do. This is the problem with these people -- they literally think they are that important. That a musician is going to not get political because they are only there to be entertained. That someone like Mike Ness is going to take time out of his day to sit and talk with them, because they are so very important and worthy of being talked to. I mean, we all want things. I would very much like to make out with Mike Ness, but I understand that he is a very famous person and very married. I would not tell news reporters "Yeah, if Mike Ness wants to make out with me, I would be OK with that," as if there is a chance in hell of that ever happening.

I don't know what kind of stupid you would have to be to go to a punk show and expect shit not to get political. If that's what you're looking for, you are much better off going to see, I don't know ... Paul Anka? Taylor Swift? Whatsisface with all the songs about cheeseburgers and margaritas? This ethos is probably why, frankly, conservatives are not very good at music. Musicians are not dancing ponies who are there to mindlessly entertain you and not have opinions on things.

In conclusion, Mike Ness is punk as fuck, and I'm pretty sure this whole story got me pregnant.
