Reminds me of what happened in Germany in '67 when the Shah visited Berlin and his secret police, the SAVAK, beat the shit out of German protesters one of whom was my mom who had her hand broken as a result. To this day, she has trouble with grip-strength as well as with chronic pain.

a lot of bernie voters i know can't shut up about seth rich, so i doubt that kind of stupid is curable. when i was 17 living in a swing state, i was two months away from being able to vote but knew i'd have to vote dem, because pennsylvania. Even though we all talked about how we'd love for the greens to get the needed percentage, we never even considered the idea of voting for a third party. You just don't, in a swing state. And if you do - you're an asshole and unlikely to change your mind.
