The cursed relic that houses the evil animating spirit that drives the modern GOP?

Miles sweetie - love the optimism, but you are going to have to accept the fact that your party is beyond help. Either help elect Democrats or sit your ass down.

In fairness, Republicans got everything they wanted with Trump up to a point.

Ask yourself if the option in 2016 was between Ted Cruz and a Democratic version of Trump (personally odious, perhaps even corrupt, but someone who would advance a wish list of progressive policies).

On a "Hacks on Tap" podcast, one of the hosts mentioned that insurance actuaries have penciled in Trump's demise slightly ahead of 2024. A lot of hypothetical opposition instead of true reform in the GOP.

Misogyny is a powerful force. And there are still an awful lot of Dems who are closet misogynists.
