Libertarianism is a disease for which the cure is a few years in the modern workforce. Expect for these attitudes around 'hard-work' to temper after a few more years in the real world.
As a millennial, I really hoped that my generation would be at least somewhat past the whole race thing, but I see time and time again that, well, we're not. At least a good majority of us are in favor of homosekshul marriage...silver linings.
Prejudices are breed into us by our families. Until there are less racist families (Ie, the parents) there will be no real lessening of racist offspring. However, take heart that it is much more likely that people from your generation will change their minds as they go through life and meet actual brown people, than people from the preceeding generations.
