At this point, I'm willing to believe that this isn't some campaign strategy and that he really, honestly, truly believes that he is responsible for the current $35 insulin cap.
You'll never talk him out of it, either. When Chump knows something, he fucking knows it.
Optometry seems to have the longest wait time for my medical group. On the other hand, my primary doctor has rescheduled my physical twice over three months.
Only mildly OT, because it's related to health care:
There was discussion the other day about wait times in the Canadian system. I'm in Alberta, which is having a doctor shortage because our conservative government is trying to destroy the health system. I got a referral on Aug 5 to a dermatologist for something non-urgent, that is most definitely NOT skin cancer. They phoned me today, and my appointment is on Sept 11. About five weeks, which seems to me to be just fine.
For comparison, how much faster would an American with good insurance be seen, in a comparable situation?
So, roughly the same as Canadian wait times. That's in the neighbourhood of the amount of time I had to wait first time I saw my pulmonologist. And it was about six weeks to see a cardiologist, but by that time I had seen three other doctors and had a raft of tests, and was responding to medication.
So much for "Yeah, Canadians get free health care but they have such long waiting lists...."
"...also remember I am known as "The Fifth Beatle". We changed the word to "Hand" in my song for why I don't know because "Gland" and also "Seventeen" from "Twelve" but then also Huge Hits! Very much all-time."
I still want to see the "Trump health plan" that Kaleigh McEneny waved around in front of cameras that one time, and which clearly looked to be a bout six reams of blank paper.
The brain of the failed casino mogul is even more addled. He hears the name of a drug, and he immediately goes back to the 1908s - "A drug? Yeah, I did that!"

The verifiable FACT of the matter is that it's Democratic administrations that get what needs to be done DONE in the United States without being beholden to select handfuls of obscenely over-entitled billionaires who WILL demand satisfaction.
PAB "doing insulin" is like his claim that gasoline only cost $1.87 during his admin - Yeah it did reach $1.87/gal, for one month during the pandemic - otherwise it was over $2/gal every other month. Still lower than what we've seen in the last couple of years, but misleading to say the least
I found a photo from the Fourth of July parade in our tiny town in rural northern Pennsylvania. In the foreground is the gas station with regular gasoline listed for $3.69. What year was that? 2013
I'm not wondering about the price - I'm wondering about PAB trying to make it sound like gas was $1.87/gal throughout his term ( Actually, I'm not wondering - but if i were to call that a lie, some MAGA asshole would point to the one month and say "See, he wasn't lying !" )
Not that PAB is strange—goodness no— but he keeps mentioning “tampons in boys’ bathrooms.”
When your culture war talking points are focused on children’s restrooms, you might just be a weird pervert fuckface.
* "It's important. They say it is the most important subject," Trump said at one point. "I am not sure it is but they say it is. Inflation is the most important but that is part of the economy. Kamala Harris wants to be in charge of the entire U.S. economy, but neither she nor her running mate — another beauty, isn't he? He signed a bill. He wants tampons in boys' bathrooms. I don't think so."*
We need to point out loudly and often to friends and relatives what an a liar he is.

And it doesn't even have to be a true thing. In fact, the more he knows it, the less likely to be true it is.

I've never understood why teeth and eyes are considered aftermarket accessories by health insurance companies.

I'm pretty rural, so my results are probably not typical. I have Medicare and a supplemental, pretty well covered.
My dermatologist is responsive. You can get appointments in the same week you ask for it, if you call on Monday. New patients, too.
My cardiologist stopped coming to the Indian clinic I use, and the new guy at the local hospital couldn't fit me in for three months.
My optometrist is booked a year in advance.
It's a crap shoot, but overall, it could be worse.
I had to wait 2 months for an appointment with a pulmonary Doc. I live in the Olympia , WA area - not rural. Luckily very happy with the doc and care.

I thought it was the $35 Invermectan…
I still want to see the "Trump health plan" that Kaleigh McEneny waved around in front of cameras that one time, and which clearly looked to be a bout six reams of blank paper.
In two weeks...
"I did that. I did the insulin."
I think he may have done the ayahuasca, but he certainly did not do the insulin.

You can do flagrant lies like this when you have Republican-owned both sides media that's steeped in both McCain's and Murc's Laws.

Tramp is an insufferable idiot and prick.
And those are his good points
He's going away...for a long time.
I hope. He has been doing all the criming and there are receipts!
Earworm.
"Now, I built the Garden of Eden, it was in the year oh two
Joined the apple-pickers union, and I always paid my due
I'm the man that signed the contract to raise the risin' sun
And that's about the biggest thing that man has ever done.
I taught Samson how to use his mighty hand
I showed Columbus to this happy land
And for Pharaoh's little kiddies I built all the pyramiddies
And to the Sahara carried all the sand..."
I had Dan Bern's version of that song pop up on random play just last night.
Some great added lyrics.

Satisfaction, cash up front, an obscene profit margin plus stock options.

"doing insulin" is the sum and total of his understanding of what he's talking about.
Lots of supply - no demand.
If the entire country stopped eating lettuce for a month the stores would give away two heads to every customer.

They should put KOTEX in there too don’t you think?
Then all the boys can wear them on their ears and be Bigley manly just like you PAB
