They don't even make good paddles. But if a shark attacks you in your boat, you can blow it to bits.

The whole point of government, laws and civilized behavior is that when masses of people are left to their instincts, they will lose control and act out with violence. They will form tribes or factions they feel share their idioligy, and act out against those “other” groups. Many intellectually limited people in the GOP believe that’s where we need to be, back in 1800 America where disputes are solved by violence and people are summarily hanged in public for “tomfoolery, sneakthievery,” and other made-up, vague charges. Let’s all carry guns and violence will simply fade away as our better selves emerge and we peacefully walk the streets with people we don’t agree with, who also carry AR-15s. This idea is so primitive and so pathetic, idiotic and sad, it makes me very worried about the future for my kid. We need lawmakers like this guy, Steve King and others out of government and only give power to those who actually serve our best, safest interests.

Australia hasn’t had a gun-related violent crime in how long? We are talking about ONE act of violence. Here, we have a new shooting somewhere almost daily, certainly weekly. But tell me again how if only we ALL owned AR-15s we would all be safe? No, we would all be living in a dystopia where you fear being shot every day or your family being shot, all in the name of liberty and a misconstrued amendment to the Constitution.

St. Louis is not just the deadliest city in America, it is the 14th deadliest city in the world.

So yeah- more guns. That'll totally work, asshole.

"He's calling for all Muslims to carry semiautomatic rifles with them to their mosques. That should go over great with his rightwing constituents."

Sure be a shame if someone were to take out an ad in a couple of the local papers pointing that out --say, right before the next election -- now, wouldn't it? Of course, most of the people who elected him probably don't ( or can't ) read, so it wouldn't be as effective as we might hope.

I can't believe these people! Forcing us to buy an AR-15! WTF?

What if I want an AK-47? Or an H&K 556? Or an M1A? Or a mini-14? Huh? My shotguns and large bore handguns aren't good enough for them?

Sheesh!

Ironically, the gun humpers scream, yell, and make fun of people on the left for specifically calling out the AR-15 as a problem. Then this this RWNJ actually calls it out by name in proposed legislation.

Of course, if the RWNJ's understood irony, it would mean they were capable of higher brain functions. And if they had those capabilities - they wouldn't be RWNJ's.
